The Story of the Generations
Hello all, my name is Cody Robinson leader and head photographer at 3rd Gen Photography. Our generational story begins with my grandpa John, who was my inspiration and the first generation of instilling in me truly passionate photography. He got me my first digital camera at a young age and as the story goes I was hooked. My mother Kelli is on my team and my second generational influence, she has taught me so much about recognizing the value of a moment as well as building trust, commitment, and caring into every interaction. A value system from my dad Robbie has remained salient in my mind as he says that a business is built upon long-term relationships, not individual transactions. A quote I've held onto by my dad is a saying he uses in his business, "we service, to service again". Finally, the story culminates to me, a 3rd generation photographer building from the foundation of my previous generations turning hobbyist passion into a devoted profession. I started out in high school taking photos of the dances and sporting events, from there I've been published in newspapers, worked in professional photo galleries, and now have my own business to build from.
We say that images are only as important as the memories that accompany them. Beyond capturing memories we aim to aid in the creation of milestone moments that will be remembered forever.
Whether the destination is minutes, miles, or international, we at 3rd Gen Photography are prepared for any and all adventures. We will climb mountains, scale forests, cross rivers, walk the deserts, and fly to any destination to help create your next moment. 3rd Gen Photography provides Wedding, Portrait, Family, and Maternity sessions to a broad and diverse clientele spanning local visits to international travel.

We call her the "Mamarazzi" as she is always there for the perfect candid moment. Creativity and innovativeness is Kelli's expertise finding new angles and compositions that best tell your story.

Claire is a long time friend and a brilliant addition to the team bringing her skills in planning, organization, and visual aesthetics. She has an amazing way with children and families connecting instantly with compassion and humor. We bring a mobile studio so you may see Claire with either a camera in hand or supporting others with off camera lighting.
